Presence of Candidate List Substances

To the best of our knowledge based on information received from our supply chain and our own product data, the Candidate List substances present in component articles at greater than 0.1% w/w are those shown on the relevant “Candidate List Substances Table” for the specific vehicle.

Specific Safe Use Information for Articles Containing Candidate List Substances

If applicable, Specific Safe Use Information for articles containing Candidate List substances is added to the relevant “CL Substances Table” for the specific vehicle.

General Safe Use Information for Articles

Each Volvo Car Corporation vehicle is provided with an owner's manual, which includes safe use information for owners/operators of the vehicle. Volvo Car Corporation information on repair and servicing of vehicles and genuine parts also includes safe use information for service personnel.

Where present in parts of this vehicle, the Candidate List substances shown on the relevant “CL Substances Table” for the specific vehicle are incorporated in such a way that potential exposure to the customers is minimised, and danger for humans or the environment can be excluded as long as the vehicle and its parts are used as intended, and any repairs, servicing and maintenance are carried out following technical instructions for those activities, and industry standard good practices.

An end-of-life vehicle may only be disposed of legally in the European Union at an Authorised Treatment Facility (ATF). Vehicle parts should be disposed in accordance with locally applicable laws and local authority guidance.
