Volvo Cars and our retailers are prepared and ready to help
Personal safety is at the heart of Volvo’s purpose - providing freedom to move in a safe, sustainable and personal way. To ensure we fulfill this mission, we are taking the following steps to serve you in response to the developing coronavirus (COVID-19) situation.
The safety of you, our customer, and our team members are our top priorities.
To support Volvo Retailers, the region offices remain open for business with colleagues who now are working remotely. We are taking multiple steps to minimize health risks to our teammates including enhanced cleaning procedures.
Available to support you and your Volvo
Our Customer Care and Retailer Support teams continue to function normally. We have strong contingency plans in place, and strong technology that will allow us to continue our operations remotely if its required. Parts and vehicle supply are not impacted at this time.
Due to the recommendations and actions of the OMS (World Health Organization) defined by each country and state, many sectors are reducing their opening hours and many establishments are suspending their operations indefinitely. So, we understand that warranty terms may not be met, therefore, we offer tolerance to maintain our commitment to our customers.
While social isolation is recommended, we will be adopting the following tolerances to carry out the recommended maintenance of your vehicle in the warranty period: + or - 2,000 km or 2 months.
Additionally, the vehicles warranty that expires within this period have a one month warranty extension.
As new developments emerge regarding the coronavirus, we will update you on any changes to our operations.
We would like to personally thank you for being a valued member of the Volvo Car family.
