Error message after tyre change

An error message may be shown in the display after you have changed a tyre. If it appears, you need to perform a calibration of the tyre pressure monitoring system.

Calibration is necessary after a tyre change or a change in tyre pressure.

Calibration is always necessary after a tyre change or a change in tyre pressure. If the lamp illuminates15w49 - Support site - Tyre pressure symbolthen the system needs to be calibrated. Proceed as follows:

With the ignition switched off, inflate all tyres and check the tyre pressure. For more information about tyre pressure, see the tyre pressure label on the driver's side door pillar.
Start the car. Open the menu system My Car and select Tyre pressure.
Select Calibrate tyre pressure and press "OK".
Drive the car for at least 10 minutes no slower than 30 km/h (20 mph). Recalibration takes place while the car is being driven.

Remember that the system must be calibrated after each tyre change or if the tyre pressure is adjusted.
