Disconnect a Bluetooth device from your Volvo

A Bluetooth device can be disconnected from your Volvo. Once this has been done, the device will no longer be connected to your car.

Disconnecting a Bluetooth device

When the Bluetooth device is out of range of your Volvo it is automatically disconnected. To manually disconnect a Bluetooth device, follow the instructions below.

Instructions

To manually disconnect a Bluetooth device, deactivate Bluetooth in your mobile phone or media device. Go to Settings and verify that Bluetooth is deactivated. When the mobile phone is disconnected, an ongoing call will continue via the handset.
