Candidates Daily Duties Will Involve
Marking out & measuring basic hand tools
Bumper to bumper overview service and inspection
Body materials & Construction
Cooling and lubrication air & exhaust
Ignition petrol fuel CI fuels
Braking systems suspension steering wheels and tyres
Charging and starter electrical auxiliaries lighting
Clutches manual/auto gearboxes drivelines
Excellent communication & listening skills
Problem solver and have an eye for details
Good with your hands
Be very safety conscious
Be patient & well organised
Comfortable with the use of up to date information technology
The ability to work as part of a team supporting a number of colleagues
Desire to work in a results-focussed environment
Take responsibility to keep your product knowledge up to date and relevant
Flexibility to work within Retailer opening hours including weekends
You will need 3 GCSEs or equivalent at A-C especially Maths English ICT or equivalent.
VOLVO PRODUCT GENIUS
The role is full time working Friday to Tuesday with Wednesday and Thursday as days off.
Previous experience in a customer facing role is required however experience in sales or the motor trade is not as full training will be given. What we are looking for is an individual who has exceptional understanding of technology, great customer service skills along with a good understanding of communications methods and a positive can do attitude.
