Promotions and Events Specialist

Ocean Automotive are one of the South's most prestigious automotive groups operating businesses across Dorset and Somerset. We currently have an opening for Promotions and Events Specialist. & The role will be based at our Head Office in Poole and will report to the Group Marketing Manager although travel throughout Dorset and Somerset will be required. The main purpose of this role is to plan, organise and deliver promotions, product placements and events from creative and budgeting proposal through to capturing leads and post event feedback. This includes product placements in shopping centres or local events and new product launches.
The successful candidate will require the following skills and experience: Experience of working in promotions or events. Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to problem solve quickly. Flexible in working hours to include evenings and weekends with a resilient and hands-on approach. High level of customer centricity (internal and external). Confident and enthusiastic communicator & both verbally and in writing Ability to talk confidently to prospects and customers and to generate leads. Self-motivated and ability to work alone and as part of a team. Experience in a marketing role would be beneficial. A full UK Driving Licence is essential.
