Fill in and send a booking request

The "Book service and repair" service allows you to manage service, repair and appointment information directly in your Internet-connected car.

Book service or repair

Applies to certain markets.

Fill in a booking request in the car when so required or when a message indicating that the car needs a service or repair is shown in the driver display and at the top in the centre display's status field. For more information about how you fill in and send a booking request, see the instructions below.

Filling in and sending a booking request

Before you start using the service, see the following information Book service and repair service.

Open the Car Status app from app view in the centre display.

Tap on the tab Appointments.

Press the Request appointment button.

Make sure that the correct Volvo ID is filled in.

Make sure that the required Workshop is filled in.

Fill in the information for the workshop in the field for Tap to write information to the workshop, e.g. if there is anything you would like done during the workshop visit or any other important information to your workshop.

Press the Send appointment request button.

You will receive a booking proposal to your car within two daysThe time for this may vary depending on market..

If there is a problem with the "Book service and repair" feature, contact your Volvo dealer.

When a booking request is sent from the car to the workshop, car information is also sent. This information makes it easier for the workshop to plan. For more information about vehicle data, see Send car information.
