Send car information

The ”Book service and repair” service allows you to send vehicle data to your workshop directly from your online connected car. Car data allows the workshop to plan for your visit.

You can send car information directly from the car to your workshop. For more information about how to send vehicle data, see the instructions below.

Make sure that the car is connected to the Internet, for more information about how to connect to the Internet, see Connect to the internet via Bluetooth connected phone, Connect to the Internet via your car modem (P-SIM)and Connect to the Internet via your mobile phone (WiFi).

Open the Car Status app from app view in the centre display.

Press the Appointments button.

Press the Send car data button.

A message that vehicle data has been sent is shown at the top of the centre display. You can interrupt the data transfer by pressing the cross in the activity indicator.

Appointment information and car information

When you decide to book a service or send vehicle data from your car, appointment information and vehicle data will be sent via your Internet connection. The car information consists of information in the following areas:

  • service requirement
  • time since last service
  • function status
  • fluid levels
  • Meter reading
  • the car’s identification number (VIN

    Vehicle Identification Number.

  • the car's software version
  • the car's diagnostic information
