Data transfer between car and workshop via Wi-Fi
At a workshop visit a technician may wish to connect your car to the workshop's network via Wi-Fi to perform fault-tracing and install software.
Manual connection to the workshop
Connection to the network is normally handled by a service technician. The technician can connect your car to the workshop's network by pressing three times on the remote control key's lock button. It is therefore important to take the remote control key with buttons with you when you visit a workshop.
Take the remote control key with buttons with you for workshop visits.
Using this method to connect to a Wi-Fi network is only possible when connecting to a specific workshop network. It is not possible to reach other Wi-Fi networks in this way.
When the car is connected to the Wi-Fi network, the symbol appears in the centre display.
The car must not be driven when it is connected to the workshop's network and system.
