Cars equipped with Sensus Connect
From and including February 2020, it is no longer possible to send map destinations from websites to the car.
- Send to Car – Using the "Send to Car" service, you can send an address from a map service via the Volvo Cars app. To use this function, you need the car's VIN or a Volvo ID. For more information, see Send to Car.
- Volvo On CallOption. - Volvo ID is used when you log in to the Volvo Cars app. See Volvo On Call for more information.
Why have a Volvo ID?
A Volvo ID consists of a username and a password and it gives you access to Volvo's different services.
When you change the username/password for a service (e.g. Volvo On CallOnly applies to Volvo On Call markets.) it will also be changed automatically for other services (e.g. when logging in to https://www.volvocars.com/).
