Frequently asked questions

  • After placing the order you'll receive a confirmation email with the details regarding your order. Subsequently, you will be contacted and informed about the expected delivery date of your new Volvo.

  • Orders may only be made by consumers who are at least 18 years of age. If you are a consumer and underage or a business, please do not attempt to make an order.

  • The estimated delivery time is stated in your order confirmation. Once the factory order for your new Volvo has been placed, you will be contacted and informed about the exact pickup date.

  • Your new Volvo can be picked up from the dealer you have selected when placing the order. Kindly contact your dealer for more information.

  • Worldwide delivery is unfortunately not possible when leasing your Volvo. It is possible to order a Volvo to a dealer that is located in another country and pick the car up from there.

  • During the lease period you will have full rights on the car. After the contract period you will have the option to either return your vehicle to the dealer, negotiate for an purchasing offer or for an longer lease contract. Your selected dealer will provide you with more detailed information about the alternatives after the lease period.

  • The leasing finance provider is Lex Autolease Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 01090741. The Dealer will arrange the hire of your Vehicle on behalf of the Finance Provider. Please note that the hire of your Vehicle is subject to credit approval by the Finance Provider and neither we nor the Dealer give any guarantee or warranty that the Finance Provider will finalise the entry into a Hire Agreement with you for the Vehicle.

  • After the order confirmation has been sent, the finance provider will carry out a credit check on you and assess whether you meet the eligibility criteria for the Hire Agreement. The dealer will contact you as soon as possible to confirm whether you have passed the credit check and/or met the eligibility criteria and whether your order is accepted. The Dealer shall confirm the credit approval and your order by sending you an e-mail ("Order Confirmation") and shall provide an estimated delivery date for your vehicle. We shall collect the reservation fee on behalf of the dealer at the time of or shortly after the order confirmation.

  • If you do not pass the credit check or meet the eligibility criteria or your credit checks or order has not been approved for any other reason within two weeks of your order confirmation, your order will be automatically cancelled. We will not collect the reservation fee in these circumstances and the dealer will contact you to discuss alternative funding arrangements for your Vehicle.

  • The deposit ensures the reservation of your selected car. You will receive the deposit back at the delivery of the car.

  • The deposit can be paid by using Visa or MasterCard.

  • The monthly lease payments are to be paid via bank transfers. The lease payments are agreed between the dealer and the lease provider, more information can be requested from your selected Volvo dealer.

  • Card payments are handled through our payment partner Digital River World Payments and all credit card information is encrypted. When paying the deposit for your car you state the credit card details.

  • Volvo cars comply with the security requirements for your payment and the management of your personal details is encrypted in accordance to SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). Our payment partner for card payments, Digital River World Payments, is PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) certified. No credit card information is stored by Volvo Cars.

  • Volvo Cars strives to implement appropriate technical and organizational measures in order to protect your personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss or alteration, unauthorized disclosure or access and any other unlawful forms of processing. We aim to ensure that the level of security and the measures adopted to protect your personal data are appropriate for the risks presented by the nature and use of your personal data.
