How does car leasing work?
A car dealer will offer car leasing as an alternative to buying a car. With car leasing, you get a new car on a monthly payment. In most cases you will also have a down payment and up-front lease origination and dealer document fees. The amounts depend, among other things, on the duration of the car lease and the expected mileage driven.
When you lease a car, the monthly payment normally doesn’t include routine factory maintenance. excessive wear or tire and wheel protection, these are provided as optional products to the lease that increases the amount of the monthly payment. Additionally, you would need to separately purchase insurance policy that meets the minimum insurance coverage standards that are set by the lessor.
