Adjusting the suspension

You can adjust your car's suspension manually using the adjustment knobs located above each wheel.

Use the adjustment knobs to adjust your car's suspension settings. There is an adjustment knob for each wheel's suspension.

Location of the front wheels' suspension adjustment knobs
The front wheels' suspension adjustment knobs are located under the bonnet.
Location of the rear wheels' suspension adjustment knobs
The rear wheels' suspension knobs are located above the corresponding rear wheel in the wheel housings.

Each suspension adjustment knob has a number of settings positions. The lower the number you select, the firmer the suspension.

The recommended positions are:

Important

Volvo recommends using the same suspension setting for all four wheels.
