Recycling the batteries
Used batteries must be recycled in an environmentally sound manner.
Consult a workshop in the event of uncertainty about how this type of waste should be disposed of - an authorised Volvo workshop is recommended. The 48V battery is the mild hybrid1 type and must only be handled by authorised workshop personnel.
