Connecting the Volvo Cars app to your wallbox
You can connect the Volvo Cars app to your wallbox, even as a non-Volvo owner. This allows you to access all of the available charging functions for your wallbox.
You'll need a Volvo ID to use the Volvo wallbox, even if you don’t own a Volvo. You can create one in the Volvo Cars app.Note
The Volvo Cars app is available for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch as well as Android phones and Android tablets. You can download it for free from Apple App Store or Google Play. The app is updated regularly, so make sure that you have the latest version installed on your phone.
You'll need to have your access letter when connecting the Volvo Cars app to your wallbox. If you've lost or misplaced the letter, contact Volvo support.
- If your car isn't connected to the app, or if you are a non-Volvo user, open the app to add a wallbox and follow the instructions.

Press the profile tab
in the bottom bar. - Go to Wallboxes from Volvo→Add a wallbox→Scan the QR code and follow the instructions.If you can't scan the QR code, manually enter the serial number and PUK code from your access letter.
