Finding software release notes
Information about software updates for your car is available in the car's centre display, the Volvo Cars app, and on Volvo's support website.

Software updates are typically released 4 times a year and are primarily installed over the air (OTA) with all previous updates included. When a new update is available, you get a notification in the centre display and in the Volvo Cars app.
You can find the software release notes for an available update in the centre display, the Volvo Cars app and on Volvo's support website. Read a separate article about how to update your car's software.
Via the centre display
You can find the release notes in your car's system settings. You can also see the currently installed software version.
In the Volvo Cars app
- Press the car tab
in the bottom bar. - Go to Car software.
On the support website
Go to volvocars.com/intl/support and select your market and your car to access the information.
