Volvo Cars Introduces Fuel-efficient, Environmentally Friendly 100% Electric Car for Safe, Superior and Responsible Driving
Step into the future of electric driving with plug-in hybrids, 100% electric cars, and their powerful batteries
Today, battery technology is quickly advancing and electric cars are now the smarter alternative option when replacing a combustion engine car in the future. Volvo cars use a lithium-ion battery to power plug-in hybrid vehicles, combining an internal combustion engine and electric motor. These batteries are designed to last throughout the life of the vehicle and they make every journey more comfortable and more economical. Volvo decided to make more electric vehicles as they are more environmentally sustainable as they can reduce emissions and reduce fuel costs.
In addition to delivering outstanding power and environmental-friendly innovations, Volvo also brings cutting-edge charging technology to all Volvo drivers. When designing the wall charger for electric vehicle charging Volvo technicians paid special attention to how it was styled and what features it included. Volvo also offers free installation service of charging points by a team of skilled engineers who will give comprehensive advice and service leaving drivers free from installation worries.
Volvo also supports customers at various locations in Bangkok and other provinces by providing charging stations at service centres, and today drivers can also find electric charging stations installed at leading department stores and community malls. Volvo is also partnering with EA Anywhere, a provider of electric charging stations for electric vehicles across Thailand giving drivers a nationwide network of charging stations to choose from, making recharging convenient, easy, and worry-free for drivers wherever they are in Thailand.
State of the art technology
One of the most high-tech features of VOLVO’s cars is a collaboration with Google to develop an application on the Android Automotive OS to allow drivers to use apps just like on their smartphones. Google Maps*, Google Assistant*, Spotify, and other third-party apps on Google Play* operate by simply saying "Hey Google", ensuring no concentration is lost while driving. And, as you would expect, Volvo went that extra mile by installing the Volvo on Call application for controlling the car's operations via a smartphone, as well as quickly finding the location of the car if it is stolen, plus emergency assistance on-call 24 hours a day.
* The accessibility of some functions is dependent on the availability of Google Thailand
Step up to a superior driving experience with a 100% electric vehicle
The Volvo XC40 Recharge Pure Electric is Volvo’s first 100% electric SUV. This electric vehicle powerhouse delivers performance comparable to the world's top combustion vehicles and completely removes any limitations one may have expected of electric cars. The XC40 Recharge Pure Electric has installed a newly developed 78 kWh lithium-ion battery that can run up to 418 kilometers on a full charge, according to WLTP testing standards. It can be charged from 0-100% in just 6-8 hours with a standard 11 kW (Wall-Box EV Changer), but it also offers a rapid charging option getting up to 80% in just 40 minutes.
In early 2022, Volvo introduced its latest 100% pure electric vehicle, The All New Volvo C40 Recharge Pure Electric. The C40 is built on Volvo's Compact Modular Architecture (CMA) platform, which was designed exclusively for compact crossover coupes. In addition, the C40 is equipped with an all-wheel-drive system that delivers a maximum of 408 horsepower at 4,350 – 13,900 rounds/minute. It offers an anticipated range of around 500 km per full charge, according to ECE R101 testing standards, from a battery that can be fast-charged to 80 percent in about 37 minutes.
The future of automotive technology has already started. Don't miss the chance to challenge yourself with a new driving experience. Taking the journey to the next level with more fun and meaningful.
