New Retailer in Phitsanulok

Volvo Car Thailand has appointed TNR Nordic as its new authorized retailer in Phitsanulok to serve customers in the lower northern provinces of Thailand. The expansion of the retailer network is part of Volvo Car Thailand’s strategy to elevate its customer experience to support the growing demand of consumers for electric vehicles and to secure its foothold as a leader of premium electric cars in Thailand.

Chris Wailes, Managing Director of Volvo Car Thailand, said:

“Customers have always played a key role in every aspect of our business direction. We are also experiencing a very strong demand for premium electric cars from upcountry consumers and Phitsanulok is located at the intersection of the northern, central, and northeastern regions which makes it a very strategic location for us to expand into. This, coupled with more than three decades of experience representing global automotive brands by Tanaraks Group, make our partnership a great opportunity for growth.”

TNR Nordic, which operates under Tanaraks Group, will commence its construction of the new Volvo Car showroom in July this year. Centered around Scandinavian design language, facility will offer a full-service showroom and after-sales service, featuring open space, great natural light, clean lines, and natural materials to give a minimalistic, understated elegance to compliment Volvo's full range of zero-emission cars on display. It will also be designed to be a family-friendly facility with sustainability in mind through eco-conscious materials and solar energy.

With years of experience representing global automotive brands, the Tanaraks group is known for its dedication to top-tier service and professionalism. Its commitment to excellence is reflected in the recognition it has received, including awards for top performance in retail, accessories and parts sales, along with the esteemed title of Best Dealer.

Khun Nattawut Anekpong, Managing Director, TNR Nordic, said: “The northern provinces of Thailand have developed rapidly over the last decade and customers are more concerned with sustainability and the environment than ever before. When you consider brand focused on these areas then Volvo Car stands out as a clear leader in the industry, and we expect a high amount of interest in the various Volvo models when we open our showroom late this year.”

Located on Phitsanulok-Nakhonsawan Road at Mueang Phitsanulok, the new Volvo car retailer is set to open at the end of 2024 to support customers in Phitsanulok and nearby provinces including Nakhonsawan, Uttaradit, Sukhothai, Kamphaengphet, Phichit, Phetchabun and Loei.
