Opening and closing the fuel filler flap

The car must be unlocked for the fuel filler flap to be opened1.

Open the fuel filler flap with a gentle press on the rear of the flap.
After refuelling is finished - close the flap with a gentle press.

  2. 1 Only locking and unlocking with the key, keyless* or via the Volvo Cars app affects the status of the fuel filler flap.
