Volvo XC40 Recharge Pure Electric Received Two Awards at the CarSifu Editors’ Choice Awards 2022.
After a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19 restrictions, the annual CarSifu Editors' Choice Awards is back to honour cars that have impacted the local motoring scene.
During the award dinner, the XC40 Recharge Pure Electric was presented with two awards. It won the ‘Best Small Electric’ SUV as it has seen strong demand since its launch in April 2022, with the allocation for 2022 being fully sold out within three months.
The criterion for evaluation includes safety, performance, comfort, fuel economy, handling and styling, as well as their individual "wow" factor. Vehicles were also judged for outstanding advancements and innovations in design, smart features and green technology.

The XC40 Recharge Pure Electric also received the ‘Special Recognition Award’ for being the first and only locally assembled electric vehicle. The recognition of Volvo’s commitment to sustainability is a positive step forward as we continue to implement our global plan for a fully electric line-up by 2030.
