Connecting your phone to the car

Connect your phone to the car via Bluetooth to use your phone through the car's interface.

Bluetooth must be enabled for both the car and your phone for them to be able to pair. You can turn Bluetooth on in settings. Make sure that your phone is set as discoverable so that the car can find it when pairing.

  1. Press the car symbol in the bottom bar and go to Settings.
  2. Go to Connectivity→Bluetooth.
  3. Choose the device you want to pair the car with from the list of available devices.
  4. Check that the confirmation code in the centre display matches the one shown on your phone.
  5. Accept the settings and permission requests that appear on your phone.[1]
Your phone is now connected to the car. It will automatically connect next time, as long as Bluetooth is enabled on your phone.

When you connect your phone via Bluetooth, you can enable or disable phone calls and media in Bluetooth settings. Press the phone symbol to enable phone calls and press the media symbol to enable media streaming from your phone. Both phone and media are enabled by default when you connect your device.

Note

You can have multiple phones paired with the car, but only one phone can be connected for calls and one for media streaming a time. To change the connected phones, select them from the list of paired devices or add a new device.

Issues with connecting?

If you have issues with connecting your phone to the car via Bluetooth, try connecting another phone to check whether the problem is with your phone or the car. If the problem persists, remove all saved devices in the car's Bluetooth settings and try to connect your phone again.
