When you have received your EX30 car, you can pair it with the Volvo EX30 app on your phone. This allows you to control certain functions and interact with your car via your phone. The app will guide you through a few required steps in the app and in the car's display.
Before you pair the app with your car, you should complete the setup process described in Setting up your EX30.
Pairing the app with the car
The car must be connected to the internet when you pair the app with the car. If your car doesn't have a mobile internet connection, you can temporarily connect the car to your phone's hotspot or any other Wi-Fi network via the car's display.
Sit in the driver's seat with your phone.
Log in to the Volvo EX30 app and go to the 
tab.
tab.Select Connect your Volvo and follow the instructions in the app and the car's display.
Note
When a QR code is shown in the car's display, you need to allow the EX30 app access to your phone's camera. If you select Don't allow, you will not be able to scan the QR code. You can allow access to your camera at a later time in your phone's settings.
Note
If you don't see a QR code during the pairing process, select My profile is already set up in the Volvo EX30 app and follow the instructions.
