An orange symbol is illuminated in the driver display when a problem needs to be rectified using AdBlue.
The AdBlue system gives a warning in different stages
When the AdBlue level starts to become low, or when service is required, the system gives a warning in different stages. A second symbol illuminates in combination with the orange symbol, see table below.

| AdBlue level low Refill AdBlue | The AdBlue level is critically low and the tank needs to be filled immediately in order to avoid start of the car being prevented. The symbol remains illuminated until a sufficient amount of AdBlue has been filled. |
| AdBlue dosing or AdBlue quality Service of AdBlue is required | The system does not function as it should. It will not be possible to start the car after the distance indicated in the driver display. Contact a workshop2 to check the function. The symbol remains illuminated until service has been carried out. |
 | Engine start prohibited Fill a minimum of AdBlue | Starting the car is prevented until AdBlue has been filled. Fill with AdBlue to the amount specified in the driver display or contact a workshop2. |
| Engine start prohibited Service of AdBlue system needed to allow restart | System not working as intended, contact a workshop2 to check the function. It is not possible to start the car before the service has been completed. |
Note
- The car must be level for the level gauge to be able to correctly register the amount of AdBlue filled.
- After filling with AdBlue, follow the instructions regarding empty tank and diesel engine when starting the car.
