Connecting an RFID to your wallbox

Radio frequency ID (RFID) tags or cards are the simplest way to allow other users, such as guests, to charge their car with your wallbox.

To use an RFID tag or card for charging, simply connect it to your wallbox through the Volvo Cars app and then tap it on the wallbox to start charging.

Note

RFID tags or cards are not supplied with the Volvo wallbox. However, you'll still be able to connect any RFID tag or card for use with your wallbox.

Connecting and adding an RFID to your wallbox

1. In the Volvo Cars app, go to the profile tab and select Wallbox > Manage access > Add a new tag and follow the instructions.

> You can now tap the tag or card on the wallbox to start charging. The RFID is shown under Access tags > Wallbox users.

Removing an RFID tag

1. In the Volvo Cars app, go to the profile tab and select Wallbox > Manage access.
2. Under Access tags, press Remove next to the RFID you want to remove and follow the instructions.

> The tag has been removed from your profile.
