Standby mode for Pilot Assist*

Pilot Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control1 can be deactivated and set in standby mode. This can take place automatically or be done by the driver.

Selecting and activating cruise control functions

For a special preference of the cruise control function, it can be selected in the centre display before activation with steering wheel button. This applies to speed limiter, cruise control (CC), Pilot Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control.

Deactivating cruise control functions

The cruise control functions can be deactivated using a button on the steering wheel. The function then switches to standby mode. This is applies to speed limiter (SL), automatic speed limiter (ASL), cruise control (CC) and Pilot Assist.

Pilot Assist can help the driver to maintain a constant speed, combined with a preselected time interval from the vehicle ahead. Pilot Assist can also help the driver to keep the car within the lane markings.
