Reset sequence for pinch protection

If a problem occurs with the electrical functions for the electric windows, a reset sequence can be tested.

Electrically-operated sun blinds* have a reset sequence that can be tested if necessary.

Warning

If the starter battery is disconnected, the automatic opening and closing function must be reset to work properly. A reset must take place for pinch protection to work.

If a problem persists, or if it concerns the sunroof, contact a workshop[1].

Reset the power window

  1. Start with the window in closed position.
  2. Then operate the controls in the manual position 3 times upwards to closed position.
    The system is initialised automatically.

Reset sun blind*

  1. Start with the sun blind retracted.
  2. Press the control against retracting mode for approx. 15 seconds.
    The system is initialised automatically.
