Software updates
Updating your vehicle's software ensures that it stays up to date with the latest features and improvements.
Software updates are primarily done over the air (OTA). If there’s no OTA update available for your vehicle you already have the latest version.
Some updates are only available at your Volvo retailer or authorized Volvo workshop. You don’t have to schedule an appointment for these updates as they are installed as part of your regular maintenance visit and other services.
Keep in mind that you may be charged when new software is installed at a Volvo retailer or workshop, unless it’s included in a repair or service agreement.Note
The features and functionality included in the update may vary depending on your market and your vehicle’s specifications.
The software in declared ordinary software release windows does not affect certification, safety, emissions, or non-compliance. All issues related to certification & homologation, product safety, non-compliance, environmental protection/emissions, anti-theft, or systematic quality issues are handled within the Volvo Cars Critical Concern Action Process (CCAP).
Updates in software 3.2.12

Read more about it in the user manual before using it for the first time.

Mirror tilt
Mirror tilt automatically tilts one or both door mirrors when the vehicle is in reverse. You can enable the feature in settings. When selecting reverse, you can also use the mirror tilt controls that appear in the contextual bar to make temporary changes without affecting your usual settings.
