Apple Music in your vehicle

Use the Apple Music in-vehicle app to listen to songs, playlists and live radio in your vehicle.

Apple Music will be introduced in your vehicle through an over-the-air software update[1].

Using Apple Music

You can see your songs and playlists, play music and listen to live radio through the center display or using voice control[2]. If you have a vehicle with a Bowers & Wilkins premium sound system, you can also enjoy Apple Music Spatial Audio, which uses Dolby Atmos technology to place music and vocals around the passenger compartment, creating an immersive listening experience.

To use Apple Music, sign in to the in-vehicle app with an Apple account. If you already have an Apple Music subscription, you can access your existing library and playlists. If you are new to Apple Music, you can subscribe directly in the app.

Once you are signed in and have a subscription, you'll also be able to transfer playlists and music libraries to Apple Music from other apps.

For more information about Apple Music, visit support.apple.com/music.

Complimentary subscription

If you are a new or returning Apple Music user, you can enjoy Apple Music free of charge for up to three months to help you get started and explore the app. The offer is valid until July 6, 2027. You can sign up directly in the Volvo Cars mobile app if you have connected the app to the vehicle.

Note

New Apple Music users can get three months of free Apple Music. Returning users who have not been subscribed for at least one month can get two months of free Apple Music.
