Unlocking the trunk lid from inside the vehicle

The trunk lid can be unlocked from the inside using the button on the dashboard.

P5-1507 Unlock/open tailgate with button from inside (without fuel filler cap-button)
  1. Press the P5-1507 Open tailgate - interior button button on the dashboard.
    The trunk lid will unlock and can be opened from the outside by pressing the rubberized pressure plate on the handle.
With the optional power trunk lid*:
  1. Press and hold the P5-1507 Open tailgate - interior button button on the dashboard.
    The trunk lid will open.
