Charging status in the vehicle's charging socket

The LED indicator light in the vehicle's charging socket shows the current charging status. The different colors of the LED indicator light are explained in the table below.

Malfunction. Check the charging cable's connection to the vehicle's charging socket and the power source.

Then restart charging by following these steps:
  1. Unplug the charging cable from the charging socket.
  2. Wait a few seconds.
  3. Plug the charging cable back into the charging socket.
  4. If the problem persists, contact your Volvo retailer.
  1. 1E.g. after a door has been opened or if the charging cable handle is not locked in place.
  2. 2The more slowly the light flashes, the closer the battery is to being fully charged.
  3. 3The light will go out after a short time.
