Driver Alert Control limitations
The camera used by DAC (and other driver support systems such as Adaptive Cruise Control*) has certain limitations.
In certain situations, DAC may provide warnings even if the driver’s driving pattern has not become erratic:
- in strong crosswinds
- on grooved road surfaces
