Unlocking the tailgate from inside the vehicle

The tailgate can be locked from the inside using a button on the dashboard.
P5-1507 Unlock/open tailgate with button from inside (without fuel filler cap-button)

Press the P5-1507 Open tailgate - interior button button on the dashboard.

The tailgate will unlock and can be opened from the outside by pressing the rubberized pressure plate on the handle.

With the optional power tailgate* -

Press and hold the P5-1507 Open tailgate - interior button button on the dashboard.

The tailgate will open.
