Settings for privacy and data sharing are unique for each driver profile
When you begin to use a new driver profile, the data sharing settings for the profile are set to the vehicle's default settings and are deactivated.
Driver profiles
In order for your Volvo to be customized for you every time you get into the car, you have the option to save and protect your personal preferences in driver profiles. The driver profiles can be associated with the car's keys and when unlocking occurs the car settings are adjusted to the driver profile associated with the key being used.
Associate driver profile to key
Personal settings for the seats, climate, audio, navigation and communication can be saved in the driver profiles and associate with one of the car's keys.
Edit and protect driver profile
You can save personal settings specific to you in a driver profile by protecting the profile. The settings currently active at the time of locking are then saved. You can also name or rename a profile whenever you wish.
Hold and Charge
With functions Hold and Charge you can control the hybrid battery charging while you drive. Hold and Charge have replaced the driving mode Save which was previously present in cars with hybrid motors.
Use Send to Car
Send to Car makes it possible to send map destinations to your Volvo via the Volvo Cars app on the markets in which Volvo On Call is available. To use this feature, your car must be equipped with Sensus Navigation.
Record & Send
Record & Send is a car app that allows you to record personal voice messages and send them to a any recipient.
Weather
The Weather app provides you with weather information in the car's local area or in a selected location. Weather can only be used if the car is equipped with Sensus Navigation.
WikiLocations
With the WikiLocations app you can read Wikipedia articles that are related to your car's position and destination.

In some situations, the plug-in hybrid's battery level is affected even though the Hold function is being used.
