This Extended Warranty Agreement covers the failure of a component, causing a sudden
stoppage of its function, for a reason other than wear and tear, normal deterioration or negligence. This Extended Warranty Agreement does not cover items that are subject to adjustment or replacement during normal service or maintenance operations
This applies to the following items
Replacement or “top up” of consumable fluids, i.e. oils, anti-freeze, brake fluid, windscreen wash solution and air conditioning refrigerant, Wiper blades, Oil filters, air filters, pollen filters and fuel filters, All light bulbs (interior and exterior), Xenon lamps and LED lights, Drive belts – replacement or adjustment, Wheel alignment/balancing, Unauthorised engine tuning, Spark plugs, Brake pads/shoes/discs replacement due to wear and tear, Wheels & Tyres, High voltage batteries. In respect of any vehicle which is used for commercial purposes, Commercial use refers to (but not limited to) Taxis, Uber, Hire for Reward and Utility vehicles.
IMPORTANT: Vehicles should be serviced in accordance with the Volvo servicing schedule by an authorised Volvo repairer. Failure to do so may invalidate this warranty. Leeway of one month or 1,500 kilometres is permitted. Should you have any doubts concerning the service requirements of your Volvo, please contact Retailer for clarification.
