Our cars are made from increasingly advanced materials and technologies. Responsible sourcing solutions are critical.
Our shift to electrification – an integral part of our ambition to become climate neutral by 2040 – has made this even more complex. Batteries, for example, bring challenges such as securing responsibly-sourced raw materials.
Regardless, we’re committed to staying true to our values and ambitions, so everything we source must be done so in a responsible and sustainable way.

Our cars contain 20,000 - 40,000 parts and we manage thousands of suppliers in our global supply chains.
Our code of conduct
We don’t compromise on our values and so all our suppliers are required to follow our Code of Conduct for Business Partners – which clarifies our expectations in responsible business behaviour. You can find it and other guidelines and position statements in the Documents section below.
Reporting channel
All our stakeholders are supported in reporting unethical behaviour, illegal activities, and violations of our Code of Conduct.
We investigate everything and treat all the reports we receive with the seriousness they deserve.
Our secure Tell Us reporting line allows suppliers and employees to report any suspected violation of Our Code.
