Volvo V60  (2011 – 2018)

The Volvo V60 premium estate was launched at the Paris Motor Show in October 2010, as a replacement for the V50. It was based on the Volvo/Ford EuCD architecture which it shared with for example the XC60.

The V60 was considered a sports estate, lacking the traditional Volvo focus on loading space. If you needed more room, you had to turn to the V70 and XC70.

The engine range consisted of five petrol and three diesel engine versions, after a few years also a plug-in hybrid with a driving range on battery only of roughly 50 km.

2014 saw the launch of the V60 Cross Country. It shared much with its sibling the V60, but with added styling, increased ride height and the rugged looks of an all-roader.

A second generation V60 came in 2018, based upon the new SPA architecture.
