  • What happens after the reservation has been placed?

    After placing the reservation you'll receive an email confirming and detailing your reservation and dealer contact information. After which your selected dealer will contact you to discuss further information required to complete the leasing application. You will need to provide some personal identification, such as a passport or a driving license and provide banking details. If your leasing application is successful your dealer will order the car and inform you of your expected delivery date.

  • Who is eligible to order a car online?

    Orders may only be made by consumers who are at least 18 years of age, in possession of a full driving licence and a UK resident. If you are under 18 or a business, please speak with your dealer directly.

  • When can the car be picked up?

    Once the factory order for your new Volvo has been placed you will be contacted by your selected dealer and informed about the exact delivery date.

  • Where can I pick up my car from?

    Your new Volvo can be picked up from the dealer you have selected when placing the order.

  • Can I get the delivery to other countries?

    This leasing offer is only available to UK residents.

  • What happens when my leasing contract ends?

    You will not own the vehicle and it must be returned in good condition at the end of the contract to avoid further charges.

  • Who is the contracting party providing the financing of my lease?

    The leasing Finance Provider is Lex Autolease Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 01090741. The Dealer will arrange the hire of your Vehicle on behalf of the Finance Provider. Please note that the hire of your Vehicle is subject to credit approval by the Finance Provider and neither we nor the Dealer give any guarantee or warranty that the Finance Provider will enter into a Hire Agreement with you for the Vehicle.

  • Why do I need to go through a leasing application?

    After the "Reservation Confirmation" email has been sent, the finance provider will carry out a credit check on you and assess whether you meet the eligibility criteria for the Hire Agreement. The dealer will contact you as soon as possible to confirm whether you have passed the credit check and/or met the eligibility criteria and whether your order is accepted. The Dealer shall confirm the credit approval and your order by sending you an e-mail ("Order Confirmation") and shall provide an estimated delivery date for your vehicle. We shall collect the reservation fee at the time of or shortly after the order confirmation.

  • What happens if I don’t pass the credit check?

    If you do not pass the credit check or meet the eligibility criteria or your credit checks or order has not been approved for any other reason within two weeks of your order confirmation, your order will be automatically cancelled. We will not collect the reservation fee in these circumstances and the dealer will contact you to discuss alternative funding arrangements for your Vehicle.

  • Why do I need to pay a reservation fee?

    To complete your Reservation you will need to pre-authorise the payment of a reservation fee. We shall collect the reservation fee at the time of or shortly after the order confirmation. We shall return the Reservation Fee to you on delivery of the vehicle.

  • What payment options do I have for paying the reservation fee?

    The Reservation Fee can be paid by using Visa or MasterCard.

  • How do I make the leasing payments?

    The monthly lease payments are to be paid via direct debit. The lease payments are agreed between you and the lease provider, more information can be requested from your selected Volvo dealer.

  • Is it safe to pay the reservation fee with my credit card?

    Card payments are handled through our payment partner Digital River World Payments and all credit card information is encrypted.

  • Is it safe to lease a car online?

    Volvo cars comply with the security requirements for your payment and the management of your personal details is encrypted in accordance to SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). Our payment partner for card payments, Digital River World Payments, is PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) certified.

  • Is it safe to share my personal details with Volvo Cars?

    Volvo Cars strives to implement appropriate technical and organisational measures in order to protect your personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss or alteration, unauthorised disclosure or access and any other unlawful forms of processing. We aim to ensure that the level of security and the measures adopted to protect your personal data are appropriate for the risks presented by the nature and use of your personal data.
