Type lists for Volvo's child seats
i-Size is part of a new regulation that came out in 2013 (UN R129) covering child seats installed with ISOFIX. i-Size reduces the number of installation possibilities and thus the risk of incorrect installation. An i-Size-approved child seat ensures that the seat can be used universally in vehicles with i-Size-approved locations. Information about approved vehicle models and locations in the vehicle is provided in a type list included with the child seat. The type list is updated continuously as new models come on the market. Type lists for Volvo's semi-universal child seats approved under UN R44
A number of child seats are what is known as semi-universally approved in accordance with UN regulation 44-04.
