Driving journal with the Volvo On Call app

The Volvo On Call app can automatically create a drive log which allows you to view a summary of your vehicle journeys. The data is visible from all the accounts connected to the vehicle.

Registration of trip information

The trip information is sent to the Volvo On Call app 30-60 seconds after the vehicle key has been removed. If you restart the engine within this time to continue driving, the journey that was in progress before the engine was switched off continues. In case of longer stops, e.g. refueling at a fuel station, two trips will be logged. You have the possibility to merge multiple trips into one via the app.

The trip information can then be downloaded and saved in Excel, a useful function if, for example, you use the vehicle as a company car.

Viewing the driving journal

The Volvo On Call app stores information about the trips you have made in your vehicle over the last 100 days. To view summaries of your trips:

Go to the Vehicle tab.
Select Driving journal.
Select the trip you want more information about.

The following information about the selected trip appears in the app:

  • Title
  • Category
  • Note
  • Route (with start and stop positions)
  • Driving time
  • Distance
  • Fuel consumption
  • Start and stop times
  • Odometer reading
