Internet map – route options
Route options enable you to specify the type of roads that your route will follow.
Route type
From Internet map's normal view, press OK/MENU and select to display the options for route type.
Make a selection and confirm by pressing OK/MENU.
- Fast with traffic adaption: the shortest travel time on roads with the fewest traffic tie-ups.
- Fast: the shortest travel time is prioritized.
- Short: the most direct route is prioritized. The route may include secondary roads.
Customize your route
From Internet map's normal view, press OK/MENU and select to customize your route.
To select a route that avoids one or more of the options displayed, highlight the option and press OK/MENU.
- Avoid highways
- Avoid toll roads
- Avoid tunnels
- Avoid ferries
- Avoid car trains
Note
- If a route has already been set when one or more of these alternatives are changed, there may be a slight delay in guidance as the system recalculates the route.
- If the system has been set to avoid toll roads, highways, etc., roads of this type will only be used when there are no other alternatives.
