Symbols and messages for Adaptive Cruise Control*1

A number of symbols and messages relating to Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC2) may be displayed in the instrument panel and/or the head-up display*.

In the following illustration, Road Sign Information* (RSI3) indicates that the maximum permitted speed is 130 km/h (80 mph).

P5-V90/S90-1617-Adaptive Cruise Control, Follows, set to maintain 110 km/h and no vehicle ahead to follow

The previous illustration shows that Adaptive Cruise Control is set to maintain a speed of 110 km/h (68 mph) and that there is no target vehicle ahead to follow.

Clean the windshield in front of the camera and radar sensors.

A text message can be erased by briefly pressing the P5–1507–Symbol-OK button button in the center of the right-side steering wheel keypad.

If the message persists: Contact a workshop ‒ an authorized Volvo workshop is recommended.
