Language settings for voice control

There are different language settings for the voice control system in your Volvo. This article describes which languages are available and the possible language settings for them.

General information about languages and voice control

The voice control system has one language at a time activated, which is the same language as for the vehicle's displays. If the vehicle's set system language is not supported by voice control, the voice control function is deactivated.

The following system languages are supported: English (UK), English (US), Flemish, French, French (Canada), Italian, Chinese (Mandarin), Dutch, Russian, Spanish, Spanish (Latin America), Norwegian, Japanese, Swedish and German.

Change language

To change language for voice control, you must change the system language in the vehicle. Changing the language also changes the vehicle's display texts. If the voice control symbol appears next to the language, voice control supports that language.

Instructions

Press Settings in the top view.
Press SystemSystem Language and select language.

Searching for contacts in another language
