The traction battery is integrated in the underbody of the car.
Battery care and health
How you use your car affects the traction battery's condition. Over time its capacity decreases. There are recommended user practices that can help extend the battery's service life. These user practices cover events and conditions that can cause battery damage.
Leaving the car with a low battery level can lead to battery damage. Make sure to charge the car as soon as possible if the battery level is near empty.Important
There are separate sections in this manual about battery health and what you can do to recover from a low-power scenario.Tip
