Will my car get this update?
How do I install Volvo Car UX?

For most cars, you’re able to install it in your car or with our mobile app. The update is mandatory, but you can schedule it at a time that’s convenient for you, within a certain time period.

Will it be free of charge?

Volvo Car UX is included in one of your regular car software updates. It’s free as long as you install it directly with our mobile app or in your car. If you have a workshop install it, they might charge a fee for their time.

When will the update be available?

During fall 2025. Once the update is available, you’ll get a notification in the car and in our mobile app.

I already have Volvo Car UX in my XC90, what changes for me?

With this update, the look of the driver display in the new XC90 will be upgraded to the new design. The centre display will also receive a few minor visual updates, and you’ll get access to Android Auto.
