Tyre pressure and maintenance
Maintaining the correct tyre pressure is important for all cars. Your tyre pressure and the condition of your tyres directly affects your safety on the road. Keeping your tyres in good condition with the correct pressure also improves fuel and energy efficiency, extends tyre lifespan, enhances ride comfort and handling, and reduces road noise.
Recommended tyre pressures
Depending on your car model, you can find the recommended pressure levels on the driver's side door frame or inside the fuel filler flap. You can also find your recommended tyre pressures along with additional information in your car's user manual.
Note

If you receive a low tyre pressure warning:
- Check tyre pressures either manually or by opening the Car status view in your car's centre display.
- Refill and re-calibrate your tyre values if necessary; read your car's user manual for additional guidance.
- For persistent warnings, contact your Volvo retailer for assistance.
