Extending or renewing your subscription for connected services
To continue using the remote functions in the Volvo Cars app, you need to extend or renew your subscription for connected services.
You'll receive a notification in the Volvo Cars app when your subscription is about to expire.
Extend your current subscription or renew an expired one:[1]
- In the Volvo Cars app.
- Via an authorised Volvo dealer.
- Online via the link store.volvocars.com.
A dealer can extend or renew your subcription during your yearly maintenance visit.[2].
Extending or renewing a subscription in the Volvo Cars app
You'll receive a notification in the Volvo Cars app when your subscription is due to expire within the next 45 days. You can extend or renew your subscription by clicking on the notification or by following the steps below.
- Go to the car tab
. - Press Active services > Connected services and follow the instructions.
If you renew your subscription for connected services after it has expired, you may need to activate the remote functions in the Volvo Cars app again. To use the functions without interruption, it's recommended to extend your subscription before it expires. Contact Volvo support if you need help with renewing your subscription.Note
