Changing your details after placing an order

If you need to update your order information or car specification, contact Volvo support with your order number.

Making changes

Contact Volvo support with your change request, please have the following information ready:

  • Your full name
  • Order number
  • Volvo ID (email address)
  • Phone number

Important

Changing details in your Volvo profile will not automatically update the information on your order.

Types of changes available

  • Personal information: Contact details can be updated anytime.
  • Address changes: If your address change requires a change of delivering retailer, please contact Volvo support as soon as possible. The feasibility of these changes will depend on where your car is in the delivery process.
  • Car specifications: If you need to make changes to your car specification, please contact Volvo support as soon as possible. While most changes can be accommodated before the car enters production, not all requests can be guaranteed.

Important

Any significant changes may require cancelling and replacing your order, affecting your position in the production queue.

What happens next

You'll receive an email confirming your change request. If needed, an updated order specification will be sent for your approval.

Note

You will be informed if the changes you’ve requested cannot be accommodated.
