Your EX30 is capable of towing, for example, trailers and mounted bicycle racks. There are however currently some minor inconveniences when towing, which are expected to be updated in the upcoming OTA releases for your car.
Trailer and bicycle rack lights
When you connect a trailer or bicycle rack to the towbar, their lights will only activate once the driver's door has been closed.
Automatic trailer lights inspection function
The automatic trailer lights inspection when connecting to the towbar is currently not available.
Note
You should manually check trailer and bicycle rack lights before you start towing.
Notification when disconnecting
A notification appears in the driver information area of the display when disconnecting from the towbar. The notification will disappear when you fold in the towbar or by opening and closing the boot.
