Using Internet map

This article describes the procedure for starting Internet map, planning a route and starting guidance to your destination.

See operating instructions and using menus . Characters are entered using either the text wheel or the center console keypad are used to enter text .

The vehicle must be connected to the Internet.
Press the NAV button on the center console to start Internet map.
Accept position sharing about the vehicle's position.

 Note

Internet map cannot function if position sharing has not been accepted.

To turn position sharing off, from the source's normal view, press OK/MENU, select Settings and deselect Position sharing.

Select route options (e.g., type of road, tunnels, ferries, etc.)
Select map options (e.g., full-screen, map colors, position information etc.)
The vehicle's location and any selected points of interest will be shown on the map.

Show the remaining route

From the source's normal view, for an overview of your route, press OK/MENU and select RouteMap of remaining route.

Show detailed route information.

Change destination

Change destinations by selecting a new destination.

Cancel/resume guidance

From the source's normal view, to cancel or resume guidance, press OK/MENU and select OK/MENU and select Cancel/Resume guidance.

Change of ownership

When the vehicle changes owners, it is important that user data and system settings be returned to the original factory settings, see Change of ownership.
