Weather

The Weather app provides you with weather information in the car's local area or in a selected location. Weather can only be used if the car is equipped with Sensus Navigation.

The Weather app

Weather gives you daily and weekly forecasts. Set the location you want updated weather for in the app settings. The settings can be accessed in the display mode for the app. Here you can also change settings for measuring wind speed.

Using Weather

Weather is a free service which does not require an account to be registered.

Note that data usage charges may be incurred depending on subscription. Contact your internet provider for more information.

Use the steering wheel knob for safer use of the app while you drive.

Tips when using Weather

If you experience problems with Weather, check that you have a working internet connection and good signal strength.  Note

Available selection of apps can vary depending on market and if the services are supported by Volvo's third party vendors. It may be the case that one or several apps are not available on the market where the car is sold or used.

  • XC60, XC60 Twin Engine/Recharge Plug-in Hybrid, V90 Twin Engine/Recharge Plug-in Hybrid and S90 Twin Engine/Recharge Plug-in Hybrid of model years 2018 to 2021.

  • XC40 from model year 2018 onward.

  • V60, V60 Twin Engine/Recharge Plug-in Hybrid, V60 Cross Country, S60, S60 Twin Engine/Recharge Plug-in Hybrid of model years 2019 to 2022.

  • XC40 Twin Engine/Recharge Plug-in Hybrid from model year 2020 onward.
